Terms of Service

Effective 13 September 2026 · Version 1.0.0 · Draft — lawyer review required. Operator: [Your Registered Entity Pvt. Ltd.], [address]. Support: abhishek@khatakopilot.store.

1. What KhataCopilot is

A voice-first, offline-first counter companion for merchants: ledger, GST-format drafts, ONDC-format catalogs, soundbox announcements and thermal bills. Test builds (v1.0.0) are provided for shop trials.

2. What it is not (professional disclaimer)

Not a chartered accountant, not a lender, not a GST Suvidha Provider. GST figures are drafts in the portal's shape — your CA reviews and files. The cash-flow indicator is not a credit-bureau score. Any future loan offer comes from a named RBI-regulated lender under its own agreement; the app acts as facilitator only and never disburses, collects, or moves money.

3. Your responsibilities

  • Confirm HSN rates, place-of-supply and ITC strictly against current GST law and your CA's advice before filing or collecting tax.
  • Keep seller details (FSSAI number, address, phone, MRP, net quantity) true and current before any ONDC broadcast.
  • Keep your device, PIN and cloud keys to yourself; exports you share (PDF/CSV/JSON) travel through apps you choose.

4. Acceptable use

No fraud, no fake listings, no impersonation, no reverse-engineering of the update channel, no feeding another person's notifications or photos into the app. Notification access, where granted, covers your own device only.

5. Updates, availability, liability

Desktop builds check a signed update manifest (release/latest.json) and refuse hash-mismatched installers. The app is provided "as is"; to the maximum extent permitted by the Consumer Protection Act 2019, liability for indirect loss is excluded — but nothing here limits rights the law does not allow you to waive. Governing courts: [City].

6. Changes & contact

Material changes bump the in-app legal version and re-ask consent. Questions: abhishek@khatakopilot.store · Grievance: [grievance@yourdomain.com]. Refunds (where paid features exist) follow the in-app Refund & Cancellation section.
